When determining the minimum dimensions of the gatehouse, it is necessary to specify how many people will work in it - the required area and height of the workrooms are indicated in the relevant regulations. Pursuant to Art. 237 of the Labor Code, "the area and height of workplaces should ensure compliance with the requirements of occupational health and safety, taking into account the type of work performed, technologies used and the time spent by employees in these rooms. There should be at least 13 m3 of free space in the room and at least 2 m2 of free floor area for each employee simultaneously employed on the premises of permanent work. "
According to the regulations, a permanent workroom is a place where the total stay of the same employee during one day exceeds 4 hours - the gatehouse certainly meets this criterion. If it is designed to work for one person, even a concierge with external dimensions of 2 m x 2 m may be sufficient.
